Shinkawa FRP-337 P-26-54A P-26-54B Circuit Board Module

Product Introduction / Overview

The Shinkawa FRP-337 P-26-54A / P-26-54B Circuit Board Module is an industrial-grade filter and signal processing board module engineered by Shinkawa Electric Co., Ltd. Designed for integration into centralized turbomachinery protection systems and Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS), this module conditions, filters, and processes critical dynamic feedback from vibration transducers, speed pick-ups, and position sensors.

The dual-board architecture integrates the primary processing board (P-26-54A) with its dedicated secondary sub-interface board (P-26-54B). Together, they isolate dynamic sensor signals, eliminate electrical noise, and feed high-fidelity analog and digital data to main processing units, DCS/PLC networks, and emergency shutdown systems across critical rotating equipment like turbines, compressors, and large industrial pumps.

Operating Instructions

Pre-Installation Safety: Ensure main rack power is shut off and wear a grounded anti-static wrist strap (ESD protection) before handling the P-26-54A and P-26-54B boards.

Module Insertion: Carefully align the module’s edge guides with the designated chassis slot rails. Slide the board assembly in until the rear multi-pin connector firmly seats into the backplane connector.

Panel Fastening: Secure top and bottom panel captive screws to lock the module against industrial vibration.

Wiring Integration: Connect field sensor lines to backplane terminals per the wiring schematic. Ensure cable shielding is grounded only at the specified single-point earth ground.

System Activation: Turn on system power. Confirm the power/status LED shows solid green, and verify channel signal response using system diagnostic tools.

Fault Diagnosis

Status LED Remains Off:

Verify 24 VDC backplane power rail delivery.

Check for damaged edge connector pins or board-level fuses on P-26-54A.

Ensure the module is completely seated in the rack slot.

Signal Distortions / Excessive Noise:

Check field wiring contacts on the P-26-54B interface terminal block.

Inspect shielding connections for open circuits or ground loops.

Verify that input signal levels stay within calibrated frequency and voltage limits.

Fault / Alarm Warning LED Active:

Run rack self-diagnostics to verify board memory and logic checks.

Power down, remove module, and inspect connectors for corrosion, dust, or physical contamination.

Check jumper positions to ensure proper configuration settings.
