4. Operating Instructions
Mounting: Snap the unit vertically onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail in a protective switch cabinet or enclosure.
Clearance: Ensure at least 10 cm (3.9 in) of free airflow clearance above and below the device for passive convective cooling.
Power Wiring: Wire redundant power lines to the 6-pin terminal block. Ground the chassis using the dedicated grounding screw on the panel.
Initial Configuration:
Connect an Ethernet cable from a PC to any RJ45 port or use the serial interface (RJ11) / CLI.
Use HiDiscovery or Industrial HiVision utility to detect the default IP address or assign a static IP.
Log into the web interface to configure security options, VLANs, and ring redundancy settings.
