SAMSUNG SMAOC-8 Analog Output Module (8CH)

SAMSUNG SMAOC-8 is an 8-channel analog output expansion module engineered for SAMSUNG industrial PLC system architectures.

Designed to convert digital control values from the central processor into precise analog current or voltage signals, it enables accurate proportional control over field actuators such as control valves, variable frequency drives (VFDs), positioners, and process power regulators.

Installation Method

Power Disconnect: Shut off power to the PLC system rack before inserting or removing the SMAOC-8 module.

Backplane Alignment: Slide the module along the rack guide slot until the rear connector seats firmly into the backplane bus. Fasten the top and bottom retaining screws.

Shielded Wiring Practice: Connect actuators using twisted-pair shielded cables. Ground the shield at a single point on the PLC enclosure side to minimize external electrical noise.

Signal Mode Configuration: Set DIP switches or software settings to match the target actuator input signal format (4–20mA or 0–10V) before applying field power.

Operating Instructions
