Mounting onto DIN Rail: Position the top groove of the rear metal mounting attachment onto the upper lip of a standard 35 mm DIN rail (EN 50022).

Locking Securely: Forcefully press the bottom-front surface of the switch toward the DIN rail until the spring-loaded metal locking slide snaps into position on the bottom rail edge.

PE Chassis Grounding: Run a dedicated grounding lead from the chassis PE screw on the lower face to the main cabinet ground bar to prevent static build-up and shield the electronics from power surges.

Operating Instructions

1. Hardware Connections

Copper Connections: Plug standard Category 5e (or better) RJ45 cables into the 24 downstream ports. Note that auto-MDI/MDI-X automatically handles crossover requirements.

Gigabit Uplinks (SFP): If optical connections are preferred, insert a compatible Hirschmann M-FAST SFP or M-SFP transceiver into the combo SFP slots. Connecting a cable to the SFP slot automatically disables the adjacent copper RJ45 combo port.

2. Accessing the Configuration Interface
