Product Features / Core Advantages

High-Density All-Copper Switching: 16 Fast Ethernet ports in a single compact DIN-rail footprint, making it ideal for large cabinet setups requiring extensive local device connections.

True Plug-and-Play Simplicity: Requires no software setup—automatically negotiates speed (10/100 Mbps), duplex mode, and cable pinouts (Auto-MDI/MDI-X) across all ports.

Redundant Power & Alarm Relay: Features dual power supply inputs to prevent network outages from power source failures, alongside a dry contact signal relay that triggers local PLC alarms upon link loss or power failure.

RS20-1600T1T1SDAUHH

Fanless & Solid-State Reliability: Operates quietly without moving cooling parts, yielding an MTBF exceeding 45 years.

Model Classification & Ordering Code Breakdown

Installation Method

DIN-Rail Mounting: Hook the upper latch of the switch onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail (EN 50022/IEC 60715) and push the bottom of the housing toward the rail until the locking lever snaps into place.

Earth Grounding: Connect a functional protective grounding conductor (minimum 1.5 $\text{mm}^2$) to the grounding screw terminal on the switch bottom plate.

Power & Fault Relay Wiring: Wire redundant DC inputs (9.6–60 V DC) or 24 V AC power into the 6-pin removable terminal block. Connect the fault contact output to a PLC input or alarm light.

Network Cabling: Plug standard Cat5e or Cat6 twisted-pair Ethernet cables (up to 100 meters) into any of the 16 RJ45 ports.

Operating Instructions

Power Verification: Upon energizing the terminal block, check that the front panel power LEDs (P1 and P2) light up solid green.

Port Link Checking: Observe the LED indicators above each RJ45 port:

Link/Data LED: Solid green indicates a valid physical connection; flickering green indicates active frame transmission.

Speed LED: Displays port connection speed (10 Mbps vs. 100 Mbps).

Fault Diagnostics: If the red Fault/Error LED illuminates, verify that both power feeds are active and that none of the monitored network ports have lost their link.

Maintenance: Because the switch is unmanaged and fanless, no software configuration or routine physical maintenance is required—periodic inspections should focus on wire tightness and dust build-up.
