Installation Method

DIN Rail Attachment: Hook the top groove of the SMTB-DO onto the standard 35mm DIN rail and push down firmly until the bottom latch snaps into place.

Wiring Connection: Strip 7mm of insulation from 14–22 AWG copper wire. Insert into terminal slots and tighten screws to a torque of 0.5 Nm.

Power Connection: Connect the 24V DC auxiliary power supply to the main V+ and V- terminals, observing polarity.

Grounding: Connect the dedicated frame ground (FG) terminal directly to the enclosure main grounding bus bar.

Operating Instructions

Pre-Commissioning Check: Verify output voltage parameters match field device ratings before applying logic power.

Status Inspection: Monitor channel LEDs during control tests: LED illuminated indicates active signal output state; off indicates standby.

Load Matching: Never exceed the maximum current rating per point (2A for relay models) to prevent contact welding or board damage.
