Installation and Maintenance
Open Chassis Safety: Frame 2A is an IP10 (open chassis) design. It must be installed within a secondary enclosure or cabinet to prevent accidental contact with the 575V terminals.
Busbar Integrity: At 350A, the heat generated at contact points is significant. Use copper busbars or high-flex cabling with high-quality lugs, and check terminal torque during every semi-annual PM.
Intelligent Cooling: The drive features intelligent fans that only run when needed. Ensure at least 100mm of clearance for the air intake at the bottom and exhaust at the top.
Advanced Diagnostics: Use the optional MP-Keypad to view real-time armature and field voltage. This is critical for identifying brush wear or winding issues in the DC motor before a failure occurs.
