Installation and Maintenance

Installation

Placement: Must be installed directly above the base plate (X-BASE PLATE 15 01).

Clearance: For the X-FAN 15 03 (low air volume model), a vertical spacing of 2 RU (88.9 mm) must be maintained above the unit to ensure proper air exhaust.

Wiring: Use a 0.4 x 2.5mm flathead screwdriver for terminals. If using a single power supply, a jumper wire must be connected between terminals 3 and 5 to avoid false monitoring alarms.

Maintenance

Replacement Cycle: Replace every 6 years in normal temperatures ($<40$°C) or every 3 years in high-temperature environments ($>40$°C).

Cleaning: Periodically check the swivel cover plate for dust accumulation to ensure unimpeded airflow.
