The IC670CHS001 I/O base is a barrier style terminal block. GE Fanuc manufactures this I/O terminal block as a member of the GE Field Control series.

With barrier terminals, this I/O terminal block is a generic wiring base intended to offer features like terminations for operator connections, backplane communication, and a way to mount the modules. It supports up to 2 modules per I/O block, and these modules should be bolted firmly on the terminal block to boost vibration resistance.

These modules can be detached and replaced without having to tamper with the field connections. The GE Fanuc IC670CHS001 I/O terminal block with barrier terminals features a total of 37 terminals arranged in 2 groups.
