Product Description

DeltaV™ network smart switch is a new generation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components used in control systems. These switches are called dedicated commercial components, which combine low-cost off-the-shelves components with DeltaV-specific software and functions to make them more comprehensive and integrated. This dedicated switch enables the DeltaV system to offer advanced security features such as automatic port locking, making it easy for users of the control system to perform operations.

Specification

Network storm protection uses a fixed rate setting to enable packet rate limiting. Network loop protection: Required switch firmware version: 4.2.11 is applicable to all DeltaV smart switch product portfolios (each switch model has a specific firmware file).

Diagnostic method: Front panel LED, signal contacts outside the DeltaV network device command center: The DeltaV smart switch also supports internal log files and system log servers

There is no need to set the switch function. The DeltaV Network Device Command Center application can be used for diagnosis and alerts

Security: DeltaV Auto port lock, view-only network device command center for monitoring: All user access is authenticated using the local DeltaV user password

Real-time clock. The switch supports a network time server as a client

Conformal coating is only applicable to the extended specification models of FP20 series and MD20/30 series

Harsh area, with grades G3 and G2. The FP20 series and MD20/30 series extended specification models can be used in G3 environments, but they have not passed G3 certification

The operating temperature is based on the standard FP20 series and MD20/30 series: 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). FP20 series and MD20/30 series based on extended specifications: -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F). RM100 series and RM104:0 to 50° C (32 to 122° F)

Storage temperature for all models of the FP20 series and MD20/30 series: -40 to 85° C (-40 to 185° F). RM100 series and RM104: -20 to 85° C (-2 to 185° F)

Relative humidity 5 to 95%, no condensation

Shock-resistant 10 g ½ -sine wave lasts for 11 ms

The peak value of vibration 1 mm, from 5 Hz to 16 Hz, and 0.5 g, from 16 Hz to 150 Hz
