The new DCS880 DC inverter series is built on a fully compatible inverter platform, ensuring that all ABB inverters (VSD) share common functions and tools and can operate in the same way. This drive integrates the certified Safe Torque Off (STO) safety feature as a standard configuration and also supports compatibility with the Industrial Internet of Things.

The DCS880 is also an excellent solution for non-motor applications such as magnets, battery charging, electrolysis and wastewater treatment.

This drive features many useful built-in functions, focusing on safe operation, easy selection and installation, quick setup and efficient maintenance. Interconnectivity has also become a priority, enabling drives to be effectively connected to the industrial Internet of Things. In addition, these drives can be connected to all major fieldbus protocols.
