Installation and Maintenance

Slot Compatibility: Ensure the module is inserted into a dedicated Analog Input slot in the Tricon high-density chassis.

External Termination Panel (ETP): The 3382 requires a compatible ETP and interface cable to connect field wiring. Ensure all connections are torqued to manufacturer specifications.

Keying: Verify that the mechanical keys on the backplane match the module to prevent accidental insertion of the wrong module type.

Maintenance

Active/Fault LEDs: Regularly inspect the front panel. A green “ACTIVE” LED indicates healthy TMR operation, while a red “FAULT” LED indicates a problem in one of the three internal legs.
