Unique Product Description: “Efficiency Without Compromise”

The eTOP03-0046 is the “Swiss Army Knife” of small-scale HMIs. Its most unique feature is the Portrait Mode operation, allowing the unit to be mounted vertically.

This flexibility is rare for entry-level units and makes it the perfect fit for narrow enclosures or specialized vertical control pillars.

It uses the same UniOP Designer software as much larger panels, ensuring that your engineering investment is Product Advantages and Features

High Resolution for Size: The $320 \times 240$ density on a 3.8″ screen provides much sharper text than competing small-format displays.

Dual-Driver Capability: Can communicate with two different industrial devices simultaneously.

Extensive Protocol Library: Supports over 130 drivers, including Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, and Schneider Electric.

Recipe Storage: Includes 32 KB of dedicated recipe memory for quick machine setup changes.

Rugged Build: IP65 front panel protection against dust and moisture, suitable for shop-floor conditions.

Application Cases

Pumping Stations: Small footprint for remote water management where basic status and manual overrides are needed.

Material Handling: Used on individual conveyor segments for routing and local troubleshooting.

HVAC Control: Monitoring climate zones in large buildings with a focus on low power consumption.

Packaging Machines: Local operator interface for bagging or sealing stations within a larger production line

Related & Other Models in the Same Series

eTOP02-0046: The predecessor, mechanically compatible but with lower resolution.

eTOP05-0045: A slightly larger 3.5″ color TFT alternative.

ePAD03 / ePAD06: Keypad-based versions that share the same mechanical cut-out and mounting hardware.

eTOP11-0050: The mid-range 5.6″ color upgrade for more complex data visualization.

Installation and Maintenance

Mounting: Install into a $136 \times 96$ mm cutout using the provided mounting clips. Ensure the gasket is flat to maintain the IP65 seal.

Calibration: If the touch response becomes unaligned, use the Emergency Calibration by tapping the center of the screen repeatedly during startup to enter the setup menu.

Cleaning: Use a soft cloth with neutral soap. Avoid harsh solvents (like acetone) which can damage the resistive membrane.

Battery: Uses a 3V Lithium battery (CR2430) for the Real-Time Clock; this is user-replaceable and should be checked every 3–5 years.
