The Woodward 8200-1300 is often called the “Smart Brain” of steam turbine operations. Unlike basic governors that simply manage RPM, the 8200-1300 acts as a comprehensive management suite.

It utilizes a unique dual-processor architecture to ensure that even if one routine encounters a delay, the critical speed-sensing and safety trip logic remain uncompromised.

It is a “drop-in” upgrade for legacy 505 systems (specifically 9907-164), bringing modern graphical diagnostics to classic turbine hardware.

Installation
