Application Cases
Automotive Assembly: Displaying real-time production metrics and assembly instructions on the factory floor.
Food and Beverage: Controlling pasteurization and bottling lines where washdown-resistant front panels (IP65) are essential.
Pharmaceutical Packaging: Managing complex recipes and batch reports with high-resolution data visualization.
Energy Management: Monitoring power distribution and generator status in decentralized energy plants.
Unique Product Description
The UniOP ETT-VGA is the “Polyglot” of industrial panels. Its unique strength lies in its universal connectivity.
While many HMIs are locked into a specific manufacturer’s ecosystem, the ETT-VGA acts as a universal bridge.
Whether you are running an aging serial-based PLC or a modern high-speed Ethernet network,
the ETT-VGA can translate and visualize that data without requiring expensive intermediate gateways. It is a premium choice for plants running diverse hardware from different eras.
Installation and Maintenance
Installation
Panel Cutout: Ensure the cabinet cutout dimensions match the ETT-VGA specifications to maintain the IP65 seal.
Mounting: Use the provided screw clamps to secure the unit firmly. Do not over-tighten, as this can distort the gasket.
Power: Connect a stable 24V DC source. Ensure the ground terminal is connected to the cabinet’s central earth point to minimize EMI.
Maintenance
Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth with mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the resistive touch layer.
Backup: Periodically back up the project file and recipe data using a PC with the Designer software.
Battery: The internal RTC (Real-Time Clock) battery should be checked every 3–5 years to ensure time-stamped alarms remain accurate.
