Yaskawa’s new series of motors
Since the transistor inverter (VS-616T) of Yaskawa Electric was launched in 1974, the cumulative number of inverter shipments has exceeded 30 million.
As one of the pioneers in motor control, it has developed numerous drive technologies such as vector control, digital control, and IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar TRAN-Resistor) drive. And through the achievements of these technological developments, they have “penetrated into multiple industries”, making significant contributions to enhancing factory production efficiency, energy conservation, and reducing CO2 emissions.
The inverter business has established a global sales and service network, implementing pre-sale services (technical proposals) and after-sale services directly related to the regions. In addition, we have a mother factory in Japan and five bases in the United States, Europe, China and India. We integrate the demands of each region for development and production, and are deeply trusted by our customers.
In 2017, new series of frequency converters were launched, namely “High-Performance Multi-functional Frequency Converter GA700” and “Lifting Multi-functional Frequency Converter CH700”.
In 2019, Yaskawa launched the “Small High-performance Inverter GA500”. The new series of inverters inherits the high quality that Yaskawa takes pride in and, with the concepts of “versatility”, “ease of use” and “peace of mind”, provides suitable “answers” to the problems existing in customers.
