GE MU360 Process Interface Unit

MU360 is a process Interface Unit (PIU) with analog and binary interfaces, used for complete switch station modeling, control and digitization in accordance with IEC 61850 and IEC 61869 standards and protocols such as sample values (SV) and GOOSE.

Main advantages
The compact form supports on-site installation options for circuit breaker cabinets, assembly booths and metal-clad switchgear.
The two slots of the CT/VT analog board support applications such as circuit breaker half-circuits, dual distribution feeders, and combined protection and metering installations.
Fourteen I/O card slots allow for a variety of applications. Used as a combined unit, switchgear control unit device or PIU. Sizes and points suitable for all types of applications.
The high-speed and high-breaking output contact option can be directly applied to circuit breakers and switchgear.
Up to 4 SV streams in compliance with IEC 61869-9/IEC 61850-9-2 Ed 2.1 for protection and metering profiles.
Fully integrated into the digital substation through up to six SFP interfaces, it supports PRP and HSR redundancy protocols for availability networks, as well as the IEEE 1588 precision time protocol.
Easily debugged through simple EnerVista Flex 2.0, analog sampling values and test modes can be controlled by logical devices, and multiple circuit breakers and disconnectors can be integrated into one MU360.
