GE Hydran M2 transformer monitoring equipment
ydran M2 is a compact, permanently installed online transformer monitoring device that can alert personnel to ongoing fault conditions. It continuously monitors the combined value of various faulty gases (in ppm) or just the hydrogen value (depending on the purchased sensor). In addition, it also tracks the moisture content in the oil (with readings in %RH and ppm).
By adding additional sensors, the Hydran M2 can also calculate the mathematical model of the transformer in accordance with IEEE® and IEC® standards to provide more information about the transformer’s performance.

Hydran M2
Benefits
Real-time hydrogen or compound fault gas monitoring system
Measurement of moisture in oil
It can integrate other sensors (load, oil temperature, etc.)
The transformer mathematical model based on IEC/IEEE standards can be optionally processed
Easy to install on a single valve.
No moving parts, no pumps, and no additional pipes are required.
No on-site calibration is required.
Local and remote alerts are set to predefined levels.
