The ABB UNITROL® 1000 product family covers a wide range of applications for voltage regulation tasks of a synchronous machines ranging from 100kVA to 80MVA which ensures stable control of synchronous generator or motor voltage, providing rapid response to load changes and maintaining required voltage levels, even in harsh environments.

The UNITROL 1000 series comprises three Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs) – UNITROL 1005. 1010. and 1020 – which can be easily integrated in combination with automation and electrical systems and advanced digital services.
UNITROL® 1000 is also available as part of pre-engineered systems, COMPACT and FLEXplus. Conveniently mounted on a backplate, pre-wired, pre-tested, and ready for installation, these systems are the ideal solution for fast and efficient projects where time is of the essence.
